I attended Trinity University in San Antonio for my undergraduate degree, where I earned a Bachelor's in History and a minor in physical education while running track. I also have a Masters in Teaching from Trinity, and am in the process of earning a Masters in History from Adams State University through the Gilder Lehrman Institute.

This is my eighth year teaching at Lanier High School. This year I will be teaching AP US History and working as a Co-Literacy Coach and Instructional Technology Consultant.  I am also the head coach for the girls track team. Before teaching at Lanier, I taught at Robert E. Lee High School while getting a Masters in Teaching from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.

My husband, Justin Beaman, also works at Lanier High School as a history teacher and coach. We have two children- Elinor and Josiah- and a pet yorksire terrier named Jackson. I love to travel, be active (especially running & flag football), coffee, and the New England Patriots.
